Welcome to the 46th installment of this AI for Design exploration. Today I’ll be focusing on Ai use cases. Here are three that have popped up in my work as of late.

01 / IDEAS
Dressed Up & Targeted Proposals
The majority of the work we’re doing these days is advisory work for organizations on Ai adoption for their creative functions.
This past weekend I was wrapping up a proposal for one of these engagements.
I was going to send a PDF with all the details along with some stock photos from their site to drive home the point. Then it hit me... why don't I use some of the Ai capabilities I have to quickly create visuals. Visuals that are more aligned with the goals of the proposal and with the category. Make the proposal more targeted.
The end result was a much stronger proposal that walked the walk.

Brainstorm Visualization
I’ve taken part in many brainstorm sessions in my day. Many times I was brought on to quickly visualize ideas real-time. The fidelity of the visuals was driven by time, so they usually looked like this at best:
With Ai tools it’s now realistic to make them look like this instead:
It takes a series of tools, but once you figure them out, it’s a pretty fast workflow.
2. Vizcom - For initial rendering
3. Midjourney - To create signage concept
4. Photoshop Ai - To correct details (faces, deli food, shopping cart, signage)
5. Magnific - Upscale the quality

Bring Old Sketches to Life
I have a ton of old sketches in the archives. Sketches that stayed black and white, once again, because of limited time.
With Ai tools, I can give them new life with a quick render. I can use them for content, to dress up my portfolio or to simply do what I wanted to do back in the day but just didn’t have time… render it.
Ai-Enabled Benefit: Leverage Ai production tools to get more miles out of your old work.
There are countless more use cases, but we’ll leave it at these three for today. If you have examples of ways you are leveraging Ai in your day to day work, I’d love to hear about it.
